Two seats up for election on Highlands Ranch Water board of directors

Highlands Ranch Water is holding a director election on May 6, 2025. Two seats on its five-member board of directors are up for election. To be eligible for nomination to the board, prospective board members must be registered to vote in Colorado and must reside or own property within the district. Directors are elected to staggered four-year terms of office at successive biennial elections.
Registered voters who would like to run for a seat on the board must submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form. The form must be submitted to the Designated Election Official and be received by close of business on February 28, 2025. The form is available on Highlands Ranch Water’s website at highlandsranchwater.org/vote or can be picked up in person at the Hendrick Office Building, 62 Plaza Drive between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Eligible electors can now request an absentee ballot to vote by mail in the May 6 election. To request an absentee ballot, complete the Application for Absentee Ballot Form available online at highlandsranchwater.org/vote. The form must be received by April 29, 2025. If you would like to be on the permanent absentee voter list for future Highlands Ranch Water elections, please check the appropriate box on the form.
Electors who do not receive an absentee ballot can vote in person on Tuesday, May 6 between 7 am and 7 pm at the Hendrick Office Building, 62 Plaza Dr., Highlands Ranch.
