The Citizen Engagement Committee (CEC) is a volunteer group established in 2021. It is comprised of individuals who reside or own property in Highlands Ranch Water’s boundaries. In addition, participants must be 18 years of age or older. Members gain understanding in the operations and financing of Highlands Ranch Water.

The CEC meets quarterly at the request of the Highlands Ranch Water Board of Directors. The committee provides feedback on the organization’s annual operating budget and a variety of special projects. The projects may include certain water conservation and efficiency programs, update of the website and community outreach.

CEC members serve two-year terms. Members participate in an orientation and are expected to serve at least three of four quarterly meetings annually.
