If you received a blue notice at your home, it’s time to replace your water meter. Staff will replace your old meter with a new advanced meter that can be read remotely, using cellular technology. Learn more about this new technology and EyeOnWater which gives you the ability to track your water usage on a daily basis.
In order to replace the meter, a Highlands Ranch Water employee needs to access the basement, crawlspace, garage or meter pit where the meter is located. The process typically takes 45 minutes.
Please have pets put away and clear access to the water meter for the appointment.

Please note, the customer is responsible for maintenance of all potable water plumbing with the exception of the water meter itself. The customer must ensure the valves and fittings on either side of the water meter are in good working condition.
