Highlands Ranch Water is proposing a 6% rate increase and the addition of a new infrastructure improvement fee of $7.50/month for both residential and commercial customers. The proposed increase is necessary to enable the district to continue to deliver efficient and effective operations and investment for today and the long-term.

For commercial customers, the infrastructure improvement fee is set up like the existing water service availability fee in that it is based on meter size.

$7.50 per monthly residential billing for single and multifamily customers
$7.50 per ¾” equivalent for commercial customers

For more information on the proposed rates and infrastructure improvement fee, review the district’s 2024 proposed budget. Highlands Ranch Water’s Board of Directors will vote to adopt the 2024 budget at its regularly scheduled board meeting Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m., the public is invited to attend.
