Marcy Gulch Wastewater Treatment Plant
The Marcy Gulch Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II Improvements Project is a four-year long project scheduled for completion in the spring of 2024. The improvements will enable the plant to meet enhanced regulatory permit requirements from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and replaces aging infrastructure.
- The new Ultraviolet Disinfection building has been completed and is now operational. Plans are underway to decommission the existing Ultraviolet system by spring of 2024.
- At the Chemical Building, piping, tanks, and electrical are being installed. Expected completion is spring of 2024.
- At the Bio-Solids Dewatering Building, centrifuges, piping, odor control, and electrical are being installed. Expected completion date is spring of 2024.
- Various site work activities, including the installation of concrete sidewalks, stormwater piping, and paving, are ongoing. These tasks are slated for completion by fall of 2024.
